Privacy Policy
Wonderful FieldTrip is a program of Wonderful Foundations. This policy explains what we collect
when you use this website, why we collect it, and who it is shared with.

Information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, plus basic analytics about site usage.
- Form submissions. When you request a FieldTrip, sign up for our newsletter,
or contact us about sponsorship, we collect the details you enter — typically name, email
address, role, school or organization, and your message.
- Student participation forms. Student signup requires parent or guardian
permission, including photo and video consent. These forms collect the student's name,
school, grade, and the contact details of the adult granting permission.
- Donations. Gifts are processed by Stripe. Payment card details are entered
on Stripe's systems and are never received or stored by us. We receive the donation amount,
the designated campaign, and the contact details you provide.
- Site analytics. We record page views and basic context such as referring
site, campaign parameters, device category, and an anonymous session identifier stored in
your browser's session storage. We do not use this to build advertising profiles.
How we use it
- To respond to school, sponsor, donor, and media inquiries.
- To administer FieldTrip experiences, including scheduling and safety logistics.
- To process and acknowledge donations, and to meet nonprofit reporting obligations.
- To send updates about FieldTrip when you have asked to hear from us.
- To understand which pages and campaigns help students, schools, and supporters.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers
that operate this program, and only as needed:
- Wonderful Foundations — our parent organization and the system of record for
form submissions and program administration.
- Stripe — payment processing for donations.
- Participating schools and facilitation partners — for the specific
experience a student is enrolled in.
We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect the safety of students
and staff.
Student media and consent
Photography and filming at FieldTrip experiences follow school policy and parent consent.
Schools decide what is shared beyond the classroom, students are never required to post
publicly, and consent can be withdrawn by contacting us.
Children's privacy
This website is intended for adults — educators, parents, donors, and sponsors. We do not
knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Student information reaches us
through a parent, guardian, or participating school.
Data retention
Form submissions and donation records are retained as long as needed to administer the
program and satisfy legal, accounting, and reporting requirements. Consent records are kept
for the life of the media they cover.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from email updates at any time using the link in the message. To request
access to, correction of, or deletion of information we hold about you or your student, email info@wonderfulfoundations.org. We will respond as required
by applicable law.
